Presenter Bio:
Dr. Williams is an eating disorders specialist, board certified Family Medicine physician and Certified Menopause Practitioner. She is currently a Consultant in the Department of Family Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Her areas of special interest include eating disorder screening and prevention and size inclusivity advocacy. Dr. Williams authored an award-winning children’s book, Free to Be Me: self-love for all sizes and was a contributing author for the medical chapter in How to Nourish Yourself Through an Eating Disorder
Professionally, she enjoys working on collaborative interdisciplinary teams where she can provide consultation regarding the intersection of eating disorders with other medical issues. Dr. Williams is a sought-after subject matter expert and serves in this capacity for WithAll.org and SAMHSA's Eating Disorder Center of Excellence.
